What we keep
Groovy House keeps the account, family profiles, Chats, Groovie settings, approvals, usage, and connection records needed to run your House. A parent chooses what family members and Groovies can access.
Connected services
Google credentials stay with Datagran. Groovy House uses Twilio to place an approved House Phone call and shares the destination number and exact spoken message with Twilio only after a House grown-up approves the review card.
Children and Groovy Care
The House Owner creates and manages child profiles. When the parent turns on Groovy Care, recent child and teen conversations—including conversations with Groovies—may be reviewed for patterns that could merit a private grown-up check-in. Groovy Care does not diagnose, punish, or automatically report a child.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested features, keep the House secure, prevent abuse, calculate usage, deliver notifications, and support the family. We do not sell family conversations or use them for targeted advertising.
Your choices
Parents can change Groovie access, disconnect services, remove family members, turn optional features off, and cancel the plan. Connected providers may keep records required for security, billing, or law even after a connection is removed.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encryption, and tenant separation designed to keep one House from another. No online service can promise perfect security. We retain information while it is needed for the service, legal obligations, disputes, and fraud prevention.
